Share your work with us!We'd love to see and share out the cultural work you're creating to move and sustain white people in acting against racism. Please make sure to read our Toolkit closely first for more on our framework for what this project is / isn't, and use the guidelines below to send us work for sharing.
Email your work as a link or attachment to [email protected]. Please include your name, plus any social media handles you'd like us to tag you with. Please include a short description of your piece which tells the story of what it means to you, how it connects to mobilizing white people for racial justice or which prompt it responds to. If you participated in SURJ's cultural organizing process for this project in summer 2020, please indicate that in your message. If you are submitting a visual piece, please include a basic image description for accessibility. If you are submitting a song, piece of music, film, or performance, please upload the recording to YouTube with lyrics included in the description. If you submit a YouTube video with audio that has no accompanying, please include a still image that you'd like included for the video thumbnail. Or, you can record a video of you playing the piece live! If you are submitting written work, preferred platforms are Google document, .rtf or docx. This is so we can most easily copy and paste into blog style. Send a PDF if you have specific formatting needs in your piece that are relevant to the content. Please be patient with our response, as this is a project led by volunteers. We will try to respond no later than 3-4 weeks after receiving your message. |
